Zecher GmbH offers an On-Site-Service in North America in a strategic Partnership with Interflex Laser Engravers

The companies Kurt Zecher GmbH, Germany, and Interflex Laser Engravers, Spartanburg/South Carolina have agreed on a strategic partnership. As of June 1, 2007 both manufacturers of Anilox rollers  have agreed that Interflex will support all Service-Activities on Zecher Anilox rollers in the market of North America.

”This partnership will provide local support along with  a quick response time in which are understandable needs of our customers in North America,” explains Mr. Rüdiger Wand, Managing Director of Zecher GmbH.

The circulation of Zecher products in the North American market has significantly increased during the past years. This increase is mainly influenced by new press installations in which are original equipped with Zecher Anilox rollers. This is in addition to the increasing direct requests of printers, demanding an improved quality which requires unique engraving specification.  Zecher has long searched for a qualified partner in the United States that could provide reliable On-Site-Service with a profound technical knowledge of the industry. That partner has been found in Interflex Laser Engravers.

This partnership will additionally benefit Interflex by the opportunity to service the European embossing and graphic coating markets with the on site support of Zecher GmbH.  Interflex, a company well experienced in the laser engraving of graphics and dimension within compounds have a dedicated Computer Aided Design department that both create designs and manage design to engraved tool for embossing and ceramic gravure coating and laminating.
A possible partner, says Mr. Rüdiger Wand, should have on the one hand a good skilled technical knowledge and on the other hand a business philosophy which is compatible with the self-conception of Zecher. „The negotiations with Interflex President, David Skellie convinced us, that the company Interflex Laser Engravers share in these requirements.“

Interflex Laser Engravers employs currently about 30 employees. The operation headquarters is in Spartanburg. The company operates technical offices in Green Bay/Wisconsin, Louisville/Kentucky, Philadelphia/Pennsylvania, and Atlanta/Georgia. In addition to supplying Anilox rollers, Interflex also supplies embossing rollers and ceramic gravure rollers for coating and laminating.  Zecher GmbH is located in Paderborn, Germany, with about 135 employees in four manufacturing plants they produce a wide spectrum of Anilox rollers for various applications.
