In 1948 the foundation for today’s company Zecher was laid by company founder Kurt Zecher.

In a small electro-plating workshop the focus was initially on the surface treatment of machine parts.

Only two years later the young entrepreneur who was brimming with ideas produced the first regular engraved anilox rollers. Anilox rollers quickly became the mainstay of the company and the Zecher name became the epitome of innovation and quality in the sector.

The continuously growing demands in the printing industry and the almost unstoppable pioneering spirit of Kurt Zecher were henceforth the driving forces behind the development of the increasingly powerful anilox rollers.

Know-how was thus accumulated over the course of time and on the back of this customers continue to pay off the benefits of ever improving products.
