Ehrno Flexible A/S is the second largest private producer of packaging in Denmark and Scandinavia. In daily production, setting up machines can be both time consuming and produce a lot of waste. With the new SteppedHex technology, setting up the machine and matching colorproofs has become a lot easier. Bouncing and noises from the doctor blades have also been reduced to a minimum.
At the early beginning of 2018, Ehrno Flexible A/S tested Zecher´s SteppedHex anilox rollers. The tests with the SteppedHex technology in CMYK & Rcgroup/Reprocentret’s screen technology were very successful.
According to Kim Andersen, Production Manager at Ehrno Flexible A/S, most of the problems that had previously occurred with regards to anilox, were reduced by using Zecher SteppedHex anilox rollers in combination with the RC plate technology.
As a result, Ehrno Flexible A/S has optimized its printing process and saved time in the start-up phase.
Ehrno Flexible A/S is planning to equip further machines with SteppedHex anilox rollers in the future.
